Privacy policy

Short and plain: what we do with your details when you write to us. No hidden lists, and no marketing from an enquiry.

Effective from 8 September 2026

Who looks after the data

The controller of personal data is Nornick s.r.o., company ID 297 40 886, Školská 660/3, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 451657.

For privacy questions you can reach us at info@nornick.cz or on +420 702 218 788.

What we process

We process only what you send or tell us yourself:

  • from the contact form: name, email, the message, and optionally a phone number and company name,
  • if you email or call directly: the email address, phone number, and whatever you say in the conversation,
  • technical data about the visit, in the range the hosting provider records (typically the IP address, the time of the request and the browser) — used to run and secure the site, not for marketing. For the contact form we briefly remember how many enquiries came from one address, so we can limit spam.

Details about your company, a job or a process that you describe are part of the enquiry. We don’t build profiles from them and we don’t combine them with data from other sources.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use enquiry details to reply, clarify the brief and, where it makes sense, prepare an offer. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If no contract follows, we may keep the correspondence for a short time in case you write again, or to protect our rights. Here we rely on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We process the host’s technical logs on the legitimate interest of running the site securely.

We don’t use the data for newsletters, advertising or automated decision-making.

How long we keep it

An open enquiry is kept for 2 years from the last message, as a rule. Then we delete it, unless the law requires a different period.

If we start working together, data needed for the contract, invoicing and accounting is kept for the period set by law — for accounting documents, usually 10 years.

The host’s technical logs are kept only for as long as the infrastructure provider sets for operations and security.

Who can see the data

Nornick s.r.o. can see enquiries. We don’t pass the data to other companies for their own use. Only these processors help us:

  • Resend, Inc. — delivery of the email from the contact form,
  • the hosting and operations provider — storing the site and operational logs.
  • [analyticsName] — anonymous visit statistics, without cookies.

Resend is based in the United States. A transfer outside the EU is covered by standard contractual clauses and the other safeguards GDPR requires for that kind of transfer.

Cookies and analytics

We don’t use cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking. There is no consent bar, because there is nothing to consent to.

We measure visits with [analyticsName]. It is aggregate statistics without cookies and without profiling — we don’t build a profile of you and we don’t follow you onto other sites. The numbers don’t identify a particular person.

Only enough is recorded to count a summary:

  • the page visited and the time of the visit,
  • where you came from (the referring site or a search engine),
  • an approximate country, the device type, the browser and the operating system.

If a page fails to load or the form doesn’t send, we record only that it happened — without the message and without your email. That is for fixing the site, not for marketing.

If your browser has “Do Not Track” on, we don’t measure visits or clicks. A report that sending an enquiry or loading a page failed comes from the server, so the fault can be fixed. Details of that processing are in Umami’s privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for:

  • access to the data we hold about you,
  • correction of inaccurate data,
  • erasure, if we no longer need it and the law doesn’t prevent it,
  • restriction of processing,
  • portability of the data you gave us,
  • an objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

Write to info@nornick.cz. We’ll reply without undue delay, and at the latest within 30 days.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic, uoou.gov.cz.

Changes to this policy

If the way we process data changes — for example we add analytics or another processor — we’ll update the text on this page and change the date below.
